Juicing and blending are both quick and tasty ways to nourish your body with loads of nutrients. The main difference between juices and smoothies is when you run your produce through a juicer, the pulp is separated from the juice. Without the fibrous material your bloodstream can instantly absorb all the vitamins, minerals and nutrients in your juice. Don’t get me wrong, fiber is awesome (especially when it comes to poop!), but there are also benefits to skipping it when it comes to your glass of liquid greens. Plus, you can fit a lot more vegetables in a green juice than you can eat with your fork in one sitting.
Both juicing and blending are great; it’s just a matter of choosing what suits you. Smoothies tend to keep folks full longer, especially when good fats are added. You may choose to do both or either one.
